Mr. Melvin Douglas Titshaw of Winston, GA, passed away on Thursday Aug. 16, 2012, at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. Mr. Titshaw was born on March 3, 1951, to the late James Edwin Titshaw Sr. and Sybil Davis Titshaw.

Mr. Titshaw is survived by his wife, Maureen Titshaw; his two sons, Matthew Titshaw and Denny McMillon; his daughter, Bridget Miller; brother, James “Buddy” Titshaw; and his two sisters, Phyllis Green and Virginia Gann. He is also survived by his granddaughters, Jessalyn Miller and Katie Titshaw; his grandsons, Chandler McMillon and Mitchell Titshaw.

The memorial service will be held on Sunday Aug. 19 in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Rev. Johnny Holcombe officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, Aug. 18 at McKoon Funeral Home from 5 until 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 301 Kelly Dr. Suit 3, Peachtree City, GA 30269.
