Mrs. Joan Chase White, age 75, of Newnan, GA, died at Doctor’s Hospice on Aug. 8, 2012.

She was born in Newnan on Feb. 26, 1937, to the late Herschel Kingston Chase and Myrtle Vines Chase. She was a clerk in the medical field. Surviving are her husband, T.L. White of Newnan; sons, Kim (Arlene) White and Tony (Beth) White, all of Newnan; daughter, Ginger (Steve) Henderson of Newnan and Peggy Hardegree of Franklin; 5 grandchildren, Stephanie, Bo, Chase, Taylor, and Holli; 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11 at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Fleming officiating. Interment will follow at Oak HIll Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, 1-3 p.m.
