There’s a light agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Coweta County Board of Commissioners.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. and is held in the county commission chambers on Perry Street.

Approval of an emergency management ordinance is one of the items on the agenda.

The 10-page document includes procedures for declaring an emergency, and the county’s emergency powers in the event of an emergency.

In addition to lifting certain regulations and providing benefits, powers include limiting or suspending the sale of items including alcohol, firearms, and flammable liquids and substances, as well as directing and compelling evacuation from stricken or threatened areas, and the ability to “prescribe routes, modes of transportation and destinations in connection with evacuation.”

Other items to come before the board include:

• A recommendation from Architect Kip Oldham to reject all bids for the construction of the new Coweta County Fire Department Station 6 in Madras and maintenance facility and negotiate with the low bidders.

• Revision of road closures requested by Stalwart Films for filming for episodes of AMC hit series “The Walking Dead.”

• Execution of contracts and liens associated with the cleanup of properties at 42 Arnco 4th Street, 124 Apache Pointe Drive, and 38 Kingsbrooke Circle.

• Presentation of the Coweta County Forestry Unit Annual Report.
