It is with great sadness that the family of Janice Miller announces her passing on June 13, 2012, at the age of 79, after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Fayette City, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Richard B. and Viola Colvin Weightman. Janice and James H. Miller were married for 57 years.

Janice will be lovingly remembered by two daughters, Lauri (Mrs. William) Thompson of Franklin, GA and Kara Miller of Canton, GA. Survivors also include five grandchildren, Jessica (Mrs. Shelton) Kuykendall, Sara, and James Thompson, and Maria and Ethan Calderara.

She was predeceased in death by her husband, James, and brother (Byron Weightman).

A memorial service, led by Rev. Searcy Jackson, will be held June 18 at 2 pm at Macedonia Baptist Church, Newnan, GA, with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, 1504 Macedonia Road, Newnan GA 30263.
