Can't please some folks

My wife was admitted to the old Piedmont Newnan Hospital on May 7 before the new hospital opened May 8. She was transported to the new hospital on the day it opened. She was receiving antibiotics in the vein. A son or I stayed with her all the time at the hospital.

You look at the new hospital, inside and out. It is a beautiful, massive structure with new everything.

If you admit it when you get something new -- appliance, car, home -- you have some problems sometimes that have to be straightened out. The new hospital is the same way -- nothing is perfect.

The staff has to get use to all the new and determine where everything is located. I don’t care how much you train people, something will be overlooked.

When a business hires employees, it interviews them and tries to get the best. Any business usually has 90 percent excellent employees, 5 percent average and 5 percent there to get a paycheck.

The patients are about the same -- but the last 5 percent, no matter what you do they are still a horses behind. They can’t be pleased no matter what you do.
