Mrs. Nona W. Ware, age 82, of Newnan, died on June 6, 2012.

She was born in Hogansville on December 5, 1929, and moved to Newnan in 1948.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, and dedicated her life to her family. She was a member of Elim Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Ware, and three children, Thomas R. Ware, William E. Ware Jr. and Carolyn E. Ware.

She is survived by her daughter and husband, Linda and Ron Tipton; grandsons and their wives, David and Melanie Parten, and Kevin and Christy Parten; and three great grandchildren, all of Newnan. She is also survived by her brother and his wife, Richard and Betty Waller of Prattville, Alabama; her sister and her husband, Rochelle and Bud Walz; and her sister-in-law, Marvis Waller, all of Newnan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 10 in the Chapel of McKoon Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 3. Interment will follow at Providence Baptist Church in Welcome.

The family asks that flowers be omitted and donations be made to the Elim Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1529 Handy Road, Newnan, or to the National Kidney Foundation.
