Mrs. Marjorie (Margie) McGuire Moore, age 84, of Pine Mountain, Ga., died on June 6, 2012.

Mrs. Moore was born in Columbus, Ga., on May 20, 1928, to the late Crawford and Georgia Mae Reynolds McGuire. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Moore was also preceded in death by her husband, the late Billy Paul Moore.

In addition to caring for her family, she was employed as a sales associate at the Belk department store in LaGrange.

Surviving are her son, Steven Moore of Pine Mountain; daughters, Pamela Moore Sapp of Stockbridge, and Paula Moore Brady and her husband Chuck of Newnan.

Surviving, in addition to her children, are her two sisters, Opal Sanders of Oregon, and Hazel Tolbert and her husband Ed of Columbus; six grandchildren, April Postell and husband David, Gaberial Moore, Steven Parker, Jacob Sapp, Cody Moore and Megan Moore; three great-grandchildren, Sierra Postell, Sydney Postell, and Bryson Postell; sister-in-law, Nan White; a host of nieces and nephews; special friend of the family, Paige Albritton.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Hopewell Methodist Church in Pine Mountain, Ga., with Rev. Ellis Freeman and Rev. Kathy North officiating. Interment will follow at the Hopewell Methodist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Saturday evening at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m.
