Mr. John S. Houston, age 64, of Newnan, GA, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin, GA. He was born on Aug. 21, 1947 in Newnan, GA.

Mr. Houston worked as an airline mechanic for Delta Airlines for 28 years.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Houston of Newnan; daughter, Jennifer Susanne Houston; mother, Ann (Rainwater) Houston; brother, Randy Houston; and sister, Cathy Houston Adams. He is also survived by his nephews, Brian Musick, Jeff Musick, Brian Houston, Corey Adams and Casey Adams. Mr. Houston is preceded in death by his father, James Albert Houston, and nephew, Greg Musick.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 2 at 11 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery.
