Mr. Rufus Eugene (R.E.) “Papa Gene” Stell Jr. of Senoia, GA, passed away on May 29, 2012.

Mr. Stell was retired from Delta Air Lines after 33 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Surls Stell; sons, Brian Stell and his wife, Zannett, of Villa Rica, Joe Stell and his wife, Kathy, of Fayetteville, Mike Stell and his wife, Maria, of Atlanta, and Keith Stell and his wife, Jill, of Douglasville; sister, Huldah Short of Senoia; 10 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 1 at 1 p.m. at Sharpsburg Baptist Church with remains placed in state at noon. Dr. Wallace McAbee officiating. Interment to follow at Senoia City Cemetery.
