Mrs. Margaret Adams Rogers, 75, of Grantville, GA, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Mrs. Rogers was born August 31, 1936, in Polk County, daughter of the late Alvin John Adams and Edna Brown Adams.
A resident of Grantville since 1963, she was known as an outstanding cook for her work at several area restaurants.
She loved bingo, was a member of the Grantville Senior Center, and was a member of Refuge Church in Moreland.
Survivors include her daughter, Teresa McWilliams of Newnan; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and JoAnn Rogers of Sharpsburg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann and Ralph Farr of Moreland, Glenda and Earl Cash of Newnan, Geneva and Bo Morris of Cedartown; grandchildren, Joshua McWilliams, Christopher McWilliams, and Jessica Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Olin S. Rogers Jr., and her brothers, Virgil Adams and Doyce Adams.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 26 in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville.
Rev. Michael Farr will officiate, with interment in the Grantville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday night.
