Mr. Joseph “Bruce” Woods, 82, of Ormond Beach, FL, formerly of Newnan, GA, went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2012, surrounded by his family. Bruce was born Oct. 12, 1929, in Pittsburg, PA, to the late Clarence and Margaret Woods.

He served our country in the army in both WWII and Korea.

He retired to Ormond Beach, FL, in 1984 where he was an active member of Tomoka Christian Church, an avid and entertaining square dancer, and a dedicated supporter of Daytona Outreach Center (DOC).

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rita Coggin Woods; and his 3 children, Mike (Debbie) Roberts of Ormond Beach, FL, Teri Fambro of Lagrange, GA, and Bonnie (Mike) King of LaGrange, GA; 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held at his church, Tomoka Christian Church, Thursday, April 19 at 2 p.m.
