Tree Falls on Farmer Street

A tree fell near the intersection of Farmer Street and East Washington Street Monday, toppling power lines and blocking the road.

Farmer Street was closed between East Washington Street and Glenn Street Monday afternoon while employees with Newnan’s public works department worked to clear the tree from the road.
