Three Arrested After Fleeing Deputies

Two women and a man were arrested Friday night after attempting to flee from Coweta County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

The three drove through a license checkpoint at the intersection of Old Corinth Road and Millard Farmer Road without stopping. According to reports, deputies were able to pull over the vehicle and later found a felony amount of marijuana in the vehicle — more than two pounds.
