Six Arrested in Fayetteville Robbery

Six people have been arrested following the Sept. 25 robbery of a woman in Fayetteville.

According to a press release from the Fayetteville Police Department, Marquis Raphiel Jackson, 20, was found and arrested by the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Five others have been charged with being involved in the crime.

Jackson was suspected of stealing the a 57-year-old woman’s purse from her vehicle outside the Fayette Pavilion AT&T store. The suspect fled from police into the wooded area near Roberts Road in Fayette County after the robbery, but was captured and taken to the Fayette County jail.
