More northbound lane closures planned on Hwy. 54

More northbound lane closures are planned next week on Hwy. 54.

The work will be daily 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, Nov. 9-13, according to Georgia Department of Transportation regional spokeswoman Kimberly Larson.

The project is beginning at the Meriwether County Line in south Coweta County where SR 54 northbound will have daily single-lane closures.

"The Georgia DOT has scheduled a single right lane closure as crews continue to resurface SR 54," said Larson. "Delays are expected in the area as work occurs. A pilot car will be utilized to assist motorists traveling through this work zone," she said.
