Main Street manager leaves city's employ

The manager of the Main Street Newnan program, JoAnn Gentry, has left the city's employ, according to an email sent out at 4:45 p.m Monday afternoon by Newnan Business Development Director Hasco Craver IV.

"Please accept this email as notification that JoAnn Gentry is no longer serving as the Main Street Manager for the City of Newnan," Craver said in the email to Main Street members. "Over the past 1.5 years, Ms. Gentry has contributed to the organization’s mission of revitalizing our beautiful downtown commercial district,"he said. "We all wish Ms. Gentry the best with new endeavors."

He added, "Please direct all future correspondence regarding the operations of the Main Street Newnan program to me … I appreciate your dedication and support."
