The motorcycle rider whose leg was severed in an accident last week is in good spirits despite the mishap, a family member said Monday.
Authorities also have tracked down the other motorcycle driver who was involved, found at an Atlanta hospital with a broken finger and leg.
The case remains under investigation and officials are still trying to locate a couple more witnesses, said Lieutenant John LaChance with the Coweta County Sheriff's Office.
More details on this story will be available in Wednesday's print and digital editions of The Newnan Times-Herald.
