Explosion at Ga. power plant under investigation

EUHARLEE, Ga. (AP) – Bartow County fire officials have confirmed they're investigating an explosion at a Georgia Power plant.

Authorities Thursday said they were on the scene at Plant Bowen in Euharlee - about 50 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta.

Georgia Power representatives and fire officials were unsure if anyone was injured, and details on what led to the explosion were not immediately available.
