Reality television star DeAnna Pappas will be returning to her old stomping grounds in Newnan Friday night to sign autographs, take pictures, guest emcee and possibly help bartend -- and everyone is invited.
According to Heather Hyde, marketing director for Jekyll & Hyde's Grille, the 26-year-old Pappas -- star of ABC's dating series "The Bachelorette" -- will be making an appearance at the sports bar with her professional snowboarder fiancée, Jesse Csincsak, at 9 p.m.
Hyde said she thinks Pappas and Csincsak, 26, are a great match, and she is happy they are visiting. "Jesse is actually so sweet," she said. "We're very excited that DeAnna has come back to see everybody and say hello."
A large crowd is expected at the 350-person-capacity restaurant/pub in front of Avery Park, "so come early," Hyde said. "When Jesse went to his hometown, it was just slammed."
In addition to rubbing elbows with Pappas and Csincsak, fans and friends can enjoy food, drinks, music, dancing and games, Hyde said. The kitchen is open until 12 a.m., doors close at 2 a.m. and there will be a $5 cover charge. Jekyll & Hyde's is located at 10 The Blvd., Ste. 101, just off U.S. Hwy. 29 N.
During the July season finale of "The Bachelorette," it was revealed that Pappas had accepted a marriage proposal from Csincsak at the show's conclusion. Following the last episode, the couple appeared together for the first time in front of a studio audience on the "After the Final Rose" special with host Chris Harrison to announce they plan to marry in the Bahamas May 9, 2009.
