Coweta bests state average on new school rating report

Georgia has a new rating system for schools and school systems, and Coweta County outperformed the state on the first report.
The first College and Career Ready Performance Index — or CCRPI — scores were released on Tuesday. CCRPI “measures Georgia public schools on a broad set of academic criteria,” said Dean Jackson, public information officer for the Coweta County School System.
