CSX Repairs

Weather delays re-opening of Minnie Sewell crossing

by Staff Reports

CSX railroad reports that the re-opening of the Minnie Sewell Road crossing has been delayed because of inclement weather.

Needed asphalt will be placed as soon as possible today and the roadway will be re-opened as soon as the asphalt temperature cool’s enough to allow traffic on it, CSX representatives told county officials.

CSX reports that repairs to the Groover Road crossing are now scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, April 23-24. Any changes in that schedule will be posted as soon as possible, county officials said.
