New certification for seekers of manufacturing jobs

The new traffic signal at the Thomas Crossroads Shopping Center is now fully operational.

The light, located at the median break near McDonald’s, in front of Kroger, began operation on Wednesday.

The traffic signal was paid for by the owners of the shopping center, and has been in the works for several years.

Work on the project began in October, and the signal heads were placed in February.

The light went into flash operation mode on June 4. Flash operation is a final testing of the light and also gets motorists in the area ready for the light to begin full function.
