Fayetteville police are still searching for a man suspected of robbing a CVS Pharmacy on Christmas Eve.

According to Lt. Mike Whitlow with the Fayetteville Police Department, a man entered the CVS at 480 North Glynn St. around 6:45 p.m., told the clerk he had a gun and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect kept his hand in his sweatshirt’s right pocket as if he was holding a firearm, according to Whitlow.

After the clerk gave the suspect cash from the register, the suspect fled on foot.

Authorities believe the suspect may have also had an accomplice who fled on foot, Whitlow said.

According to Whitlow, the suspect was described as a white male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt over a white T-shirt, a white baseball hat with a blue bill, camouflage pants and blue tennis shoes with recognizable pink laces.

Anyone with information about this suspect have been asked to call the Fayette County 911 Center at 770-461-4357.
