Church buys Christmas for foster kids

Members of Welcome Road Baptist Church recently 'adopted' some Coweta County foster children for Christmas, by buying everything on their Christmas lists.

Traci Corné of Coweta CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates - said the church's pastor called and wanted to help. Corné asked volunteers for Christmas lists.

'Since we couldn't provide names we gave him initials, clothing/shoe sizes, ages and specific requests if there were any,' Corné said.

'He hung those request on the church's tree and members shared responsibilities. Every specific Christmas wish was met and then some, for all the kids whose volunteers said they would be in need.'
