Driver killed in wreck on Old Corinth Road

Georgia State Patrol troopers survey the scene where a pick-up truck overturned, killing the driver, on Old Corinth Road Friday.

A driver lost his life in a single vehicle accident around noon Friday on Old Corinth Road south of Newnan.

The driver, 66-year old James Leroy Bunn of Hogansville, appeared to have lost control of his Dodge Ram pick-up truck on Old Corinth Road, said James Moore with the Georgia Department of Public Safety Public Information Office. The truck left the roadway, overturned and Bunn was partially ejected, Moore said.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
