The front left corner of the Waffle House on Bullsboro Drive was damaged.

A driver and two Waffle House patrons were transported to the hospital with injuries Friday after the driver drove through the restaurant's wall.

According to Battalion Chief Stephen Brown with the Newnan Fire Department, fire personnel responded to the scene and found a vehicle crashed through the front left wall of the Waffle House on Bullsboro Drive near I-85. The driver and two others inside the building were injured and taken to the hospital by ambulance.

'The injuries didn't appear too serious,' Brown said. 'Luckily, no one was sitting in the booth where the car crashed in.'

The Waffle House was back in operation Monday, with plywood covering the broken window.
