GDOT mowing crews in Coweta this week

The Georgia Department of Transportation will have mowing crews in Coweta this week, weather permitting, which may cause some delays.

Mowing will be along Ga. Hwy. 54, U.S. 29 (State Route 14) and U.S. 27 Alt. (SR 41).

Mowing activities are scheduled for 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. today through Friday, according to GDOT.

Flagmen may be present, and there may be some shoulder or median closings to accommodate the mowers.

Mowing crews will also be working in Troup and Meriwether counties, on Ga. Hwy. 362 and U.S. 27 Alt in Meriwether and U.S. 29, Spur 14 and Ga. Hwy. 54 in Troup County.
