Litter can present danger to our community by clogging our storm drain system and flooding our streets. Litter can also enter our streams through the storm drain system and pollute our drinking water and harm aquatic life and wildlife. Be sure that your trash is properly disposed of and never litter. Please report any clogged storm drain inlets or illegal dumping to the City of Newnan Environmental Hotline at 770-253-1823.

The city of Newnan Animal Warden gives grooming tips for your pet.
If your dog is a little hard to bathe, smear some peanut butter on the spout in the tub and he will lick away at it while you begin the bath. If you have someone helping you, have them add a little more during bath time and before you know it, the dogs are clean and happy!
Rainy day cure for dog odor: Next time your dog comes in from the rain, simply wipe down the animal with Bounce or any dryer sheet, instantly making your dog smell springtime fresh.
