A reward is being offered in a case of criminal damage to cart path water fountains in Peachtree City.
The Peachtree City Running Club and the Peachtree City Police Department have announced a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons responsible for the criminal damage to the water fountains on the city’s cart path system.
The water fountains were intentionally damaged in the area of Huddleston Pond and various other locations in the city, said Lt. Mark Brown, spokespserson for Peachtree City Police Department. The water fountains were donated by the Peachtree City Running Club over the past 20 years as a public service to the community.
If anyone has information that would assist the Police Department in this or any other incidents, contact the Criminal Investigations Division at 770-487-8866 or the Crime and Narcotics Information Hotline, 770-487-6010. You may remain anonymous if not seeking the reward, Brown said.
