Barge: Charter Schools Great Option – Student achievement gains, enrollment growth reported

An "intense focus" on Georgia charter schools for the last two years has paid off, according to State School Superintendent John Barge, who pointed to student achievement gains and a steady growth in enrollment shown in the Georgia Department of Education's newly released 2011-12 Charter Schools Annual Report.
