Car slams into fire truck on Bullsboro: Responders were on way to call

The original attempt to separate the car and fire engine by using the Jaws of Life and some manpower was unsuccessful. Airbags had to be used instead to lift Engine 14 off the Mercury Sable after the Friday lunchtime accident at Bullsboro Drive and Newnan Crossing Bypass.

The driver of a Mercury Sable decided to take on one of the larger Coweta County Fire Department engines Friday.
The Sable lost, but fortunately there were no injuries.
