Meals are being offered at three different times today for people who need a Thanksgiving meal, or who just want to connect with others on the festive holiday.
Agape Christian Center – located at 50 B E. Washington St. – will be serving breakfast from 8:30-10 a.m. today.
The largest Thanksgiving outreach will be offered by Community Christian Church with serving locations at Arnco-Sargent Elementary School on Highway 16 West and Newnan High School on LaGrange Street. Serving hours will be from 11:30-1:30 p.m. at both schools.
John Martin, director of outreach for Community Christian, said the menu will include turkey, sweet potato casseroles, red potatoes, dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce, peas, beans and corn.
“We don’t have any dessert this year,” he said.
People who cannot make it to Newnan High or Arnco-Sargent can get a meal delivered.
To ask for delivery, call 678-740-3995 by 10 a.m. on Thursday.

Free clothing will be available at both schools. “We don’t do any delivery of the clothing,” Martin said.

Greater Mt. Zion AME Church on Richard Allen Drive will also offer a Thanksgiving meal today at 5:30 p.m.
