Toys for Tots: Final registration Saturday

From Staff Reports
The Toys For Tots program in Coweta County will have final registration of children on Saturday at the Coweta Veterans Hall north of Newnan.
Registration is for children up to 13 years of age who will require Santa’s help in order to enjoy Christmas. Sign-up will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Registration is open to children living in Coweta County. Proof of residency and income verification are required at time of registration. A state issued ID or utility bill and Medicaid or Peachcare card will be accepted.
Social Security cards for children are also required.
Veterans Hall is located on U.S. Highway 29, north from the bypass. As you approach a plant nursery on the left, watch for the Veterans Club sign immediately on the right. There is a long driveway out to the club with plenty of parking. Enter by way of the steps in front of the building.

Toys for Tots is a program of the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves, organized locally by the U.S. Marine Corp League Detachment 1325.
