Horton named principal at East Coweta High

East Coweta High Assistant Principal Evan Horton will become East Coweta High School’s principal next year, following Horton’s appointment by the Coweta County Board of Education to replace retiring principal Rick Waggoner.
Waggoner – principal of East Coweta since 2008 – announced his retirement recently, after a 41-year career in education.
Horton will officially assume the principalship at East Coweta in July.
