Coweta County authorities have classified the death of a 98-year-old woman who died 10 days after a three-vehicle traffic accident in March as a vehicular fatality.
However, no additional charges are expected from the accident because authorities can't determine which of the drivers involved caused the woman's death.
Cabe was a passenger in a 1998 Toyota 4Runner driven by Sylvia Thornburg of Douglasville, LaChance said. Thornburg ran into the back of a 2005 Odyssey Van driven by Carla Yeager of Sharpsburg.
Soon after, Sarah Bradberry of Senoia, driving a 2001 Ford Explorer, ran into the back of Thornburg's vehicle, the lieutenant said.
"The coroner ruled the fatality occurred from the vehicle accident," LaChance said. "The question is which accident killed her and I can't answer that."
Thornburg and Bradberry were both charged with following too closely after the accident.
Including last week's death of a Franklin woman killed in a four-wheeler accident, there have been six vehicular fatalities in Coweta County so far this year.
