Coweta supporters to present Medicaid workshop

Coweta Supporters of Developmental Disabilities -- a Parent to Parent Navigator Team -- will hold a Medicaid Workshop on Saturday.

The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. -noon at Cornerstone United Methodist Church at Thomas Crossroads. Parents are invited to bring SSI, Deeming Waiver and NOW/COMP waiver forms to the Medicaid Workshop.

Volunteers from Coweta Supporters will be available to answer questions and provide assistance in completing the forms.

Coweta Supporters of Developmental Disabilities is a group of families, educators, caregivers and individuals in the community who are coming together to offer support and opportunities for the developmentally disabled. Coweta Supporters is interested in providing advocacy, family support, networking, training and education, respite, and after school and summer programs for the developmentally disabled of any age in the community.
