by CELIA SHORTT

Georgia Connections Academy, a fully accredited provider of virtual K-12 schooling, is holding free information sessions for prospective students and their parents.

“Georgia Connections Academy, a tuition-free public school, delivers superior, personalized education for students, with the freedom and flexibility to experience our online learning community from anywhere in the state,” said Principal Heather Robinson.

Information sessions will be held at several locations throughout Georgia. The one closest to the Coweta County area will be on Tuesday, July 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn on 2010 N. Commerce Drive in Peachtree City.

For those unable to attend that session, but are still interested in learning more about the Georgia Connections Academy, they are offering a number of online information sessions. To find out specific dates and to register, go to www.georgiaconnectionsacademy.com. For more information, call the school at 800-382-6010.

Because it is a free public charter school, students from all the counties in Georgia can enroll in school through the virtual academy.

Georgia Connections Academy was established in 2010. It is dedicated to highly accountable student academic performance and offers superior, personalized education by certified teachers.
