Mock interviews held at Evans

Eighth-grade English students at Evans Middle School participated in mock-college interviews as part of their Career and Educational Portfolio Unit.

After having guest speakers from University of West Georgia, West Georgia Technical College and Mercer University, students practiced their interview skills through a mock interview. Representatives from Mercer, parent volunteers and Evans Middle School teachers and administrators were on hand to interview students for the unique learning experience.

The activity was held over two days – on May 14-15 . Mrs. Amy Addison, eighth grade language arts teacher, coordinated the project.
