Despite having a busy year, Coweta County students were able to take time to write letters to Santa Claus. Before taking them to the North Pole, he allowed The Newnan Times-Herald staff a special preview of what the youngsters wanted to tell him and what they wanted for Christmas.

Here is a sampling of the letters (appearing as written) Mr. Claus received this year from Coweta County students.

The best kind of animal to pull yore sleigh on Chismas is a dragon. Dragon’s have great eye sight. They have wings. They are big. Dragon’s will keep you warm. Pick a dragon this year.

Dear Santa,

Aren’t you getting bored with those boy reindeer? Does are prettier don’t you think? Come on Santa? Aren’t you getting bored of the antlers bloking your view? Won’t it be more fair to the girls to fly this year?

Dear Santa,

The best kind of animal to pull your sleigh on Christmas is an elephant. Reason 1 they are strong. Reason 2 if Santa is thirsty it will squirt water. Please use an elephant!!

Sincerely,

Ariel
