NuLink Marketing and Sales Coordinator Alise Cartledge presents NuLink’s check for $10,750 to Dr. Steve Barker and Winston Dowdell, Chairman of the Coweta County School Board.

For the third year in a row, NuLink will donate more than $10,000 through its “Support Our Schools” campaign.

NuLink donated $10,750 to the Coweta County School System at the November 12th, 2013 Board of Education meeting. Company representatives also presented the check at the Newnan High School versus East Coweta High School football game last week.

This year’s campaign focused on putting more technology in the hands of students and teachers, and will fund technology at all Coweta county schools Kindergarten through 12th grade. A portion of the proceeds will also go to the athletic programs at all three high schools.

“The support from the community and the school system for this campaign has been great,” said Dan Shoemaker, CEO of NuLink. “Year after year, we are proud to represent our customers to the school board and give this donation. Education in Coweta County is top notch, and the school board does a fantastic job providing for the needs of the schools and the community; we know this donation will go towards important needs in the educational system and will allow teachers and students alike opportunities to grow in their learning possibilities.”

Superintendent Steve Barker thanked Nulink for its contribution at Tuesday’s meeting, and praised NuLink for its partnerships across the school system, including the company’s Channel 7 programming – which is dedicated to video programming from Coweta County schools – and its internship and production partnerships with the Central Educational Center.

According to Dean Jackson, Public Information Officer of the CCSS, “Having NuLink support the Coweta County School System for the third year in a row is incredible. The involvement and interest that NuLink and their customers have shown to better technology across our school system has been wonderful. Thanks to this donation, more technology will be in the hands of more students and teachers. We are grateful for this generous donation and look forward to distributing the funds throughout all schools in Coweta County.”
