Of the thirty graduating classmates, 22 remain and 15 attended the reunion. The East Coweta High School Class of 1963 held its 50th reunion on June 8 at the Community Center in Senoia.

Thirty students graduated from East Coweta High School on June 3, 1963. They included: Anne Thompson, Brenda Storey, Bernice Eady, Mildred Broom, Mary Ellen Adcock, Martha Carter, Janice Bell, Donna Glazier, Jane Goodroe, Judy Cooper, Elaine McDaniel Evans, Doris Hannah, Ruby Lord, Jean Turner, Marsha Vickery, Coleman Caldwell, Roy Brown, Allen Thompson, Richard Parrott, Billy Wood, Jack Thompson, Johnny Carr, Charles Robertson, Leroy Hannah, George Harris, Larry Tittle, Edwin Brown, Emmitt Neill, Bobby Emory and Jimmy Adcock.

Attending were: Anne Thompson Patton, Brenda Hughes Storey, Bernice Eady Crawford, Mildred Broom Winkles, Janice Bell Horst, Donna Glazier Walker, Judy Cooper Mitchel l, Ela ine McDaniel Evans, Doris Hannah Chappell, Ruby Lord Winkles, George Harris, Allen Thompson, Richard Parrott, Billy Wood and Jack Thompson.

Eight classmates - Mary Ellen Adcock, Martha Carter, Marsha Vickery, Coleman Caldwell, Larry Tittle, Edwin Brown, Emmitt Neill and Jimmy Adcock - are now deceased and were remembered by their classmates.

'We were especially happy to have with us former teachers, Mrs. Sue Hunter (and her husband Leonard), Mr. Joe Crain, and Mr. Allyn Bell along with former classmates, Anita Madden Keith and Gwen Brush Bowers,' said class member Doris Chappell.

Display boards featured class group pictures from the first grade to the 12th, she noted.

'A delicious catered meal was served. Everyone had a great time,' she said.

'We are looking forward to a 51st reunion next year.'
