New online testing, career resources offered

The Coweta County Public Library System now offers access to three new websites that assist users with test preparation and practice tests for almost all of the exams out there — including SAT and ACT, GED, GRE and other college exams, occupational tests, and more.
These resources also provide online courses in several computer applications, resume tools, job banks, and more.
“RB Test Prep” provides online SAT, ACT, PSAT, PLAN, and more test preparation courses delivered by experts through engaging on-demand video lessons. Using a well established “test-grade-review” methodology and an online, video-based delivery platform, RB Test Prep makes connecting with an expert affordable and possible anytime from virtually anywhere in the world.
“The staff of the Coweta County Library System is excited to offer these leading-edge electronic tools to the citizens of our community,” said Interim Director Jimmy Bass. “Good jobs and the education required to get them revolve around the type of tests found on these sites and offering free, unrestricted access to professional assistance is a service we are happy to provide every day of the year.”
Access to these sites can be found at www.cowetapubliclibrary.org . Upon landing on this site, simply click on the “Galileo” icon and enter the password if you are using from home or work. The current password is “status” but it changes every quarter so call your local library if you are having connection issues. If you access the sites from the library, you will simply go the library’s site and click Galileo. Further information about the library system can be found at the library’s website or by calling your local branch.
