Cornerstone Kids Preschool and Kindergarten welcomed community members to their school media center for the Sept. 5 kickoff of Wonderful Wednesday Lap Time.
The ongoing program is for ages 1-4 and is held each Wednesday from 11-11:45 a.m. Preschool educator Kari Good leads Wonderful Wednesdays, which includes an early literacy activity followed by a craft activity. The community is invited to attend.
Cornerstone Kids’ new school media center was funded in part by a donation from the Coweta-Fayette EMC’s Operation Round Up, and shelves for the media center were crafted by Nick Rasmuson as part of his Eagle Scout Project.
Cornerstone Kids is an outreach ministry of Cornerstone United Methodist Church and is located at 2956 Highway 154. For information on Wonderful Wednesday Lap Time or any of the school’s program, contact Jennifer Doonan at 770-683-9780 or cstonekids@numail.org .
