Crossroads Faith Riders holding third Wisdom Ride

by Staff Reports

The Crossroads FAITH Riders are sponsoring their third annual Wisdom Ride, a motorcycle benefit ride to support the Cambridge House Enrichment Center, on May 11.

Cambridge House is a non-profit organization that provides quality personal care to adults with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other functional disabilities. As a daytime adult health care provider, Cambridge house offers participants an affordable alternative to nursing home care or assisted living.

“Our program allows people to live in their homes but have a place to come when their caregivers need a break,” says Maryann Neureiter, executive director for Cambridge House. “While visiting, participants take part in programs that stimulate them cognitively, physically, and spiritually.”

The Wisdom Ride will begin and end at Gene Evans Great South Harley-Davidson, 185 East Highway 16, Newnan. Registration begins at 9 a.m., with kickstands up at 10:30 a.m.  The cost is a $25 donation for the rider and a $10 donation for a passenger.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a general raffle for merchandise. After a ride through Coweta County’s beautiful countryside and upon return to Great South Harley-Davidson, lunch will be provided for registered participants.

For more information call Cambridge House Enrichment Center at 678-423-8700 or Ron LaSocha of Crossroads FAITH Riders at 678-357-6855.
