Airman 1st Class Alan C. Peters completes basic training

Air Force Airman 1st Class Alan C. Peters has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Peters is the son of Susan H. and Richard A. Peters of Newnan, Ga.

He earned a diploma in 2008 at Turpin High School, Cincinnati, Ohio; and a bachelor's degree in 2012 at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio.
