• Coweta County Farmer’s Market is Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Historic Train Depot, East Broad Street, downtown Newnan in coordination with Main Street Newnan. Next: June 18.

• Southern Ground Senoia Social, the second annual outdoor music event, will be held in downtown Senoia July 5.

• The Alamo on Friday, June 20 features a Free Rock Open Mic night. Saturday, June 21 has Tony Sims Band. Details: 770-683-2526. The Alamo is located at 19 W. Court Sq. in downtown Newnan.

• Pickin’ on the Square – Main Street Newnan hosts Pickin' on the Square first and third Saturdays 11 a.m. with acoustic music on the Court Square. Musicians invited to come to the Square and play. All music genres and skill levels welcome. Next: June 21.

• Clown Workshop with Mike Funt is offered at Centre for Performing and Visual Arts, 1523 Lower Fayetteville Rd, Newnan. For student grades 9-12 (including rising 9th graders and 2014 high school graduates). Is June 19-21, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – $75. Funt is and actor, clown and director originally from Newnan. He received a BFA in theatre performance from Valdosta State and currently lives in Los Angeles working in film, television, and theatres across the country.
