Farmer featured in Hollis lectures at Carnegie
James Farmer will introduce his newest book, “Dinner on the Grounds,” in the first in a series of Hollis lectures at the Newnan Carnegie Library Monday, May 12, at 6 p.m. in the second floor auditorium.
The Edgar B. Hollis Distinguished Speakers Series is on the theme “Georgia Treasures.”
Farmer, a fresh young voice from Kathleen, Ga., has appeared on NBC’s “Today Show,” Paula Deen’s “Best Dishes,” HGTV Gardening and is a Southern Living editor at large, author, cook, landscape and interior designer, garden-to-table lifestyle expert and lover of small town life.
He is a 2013 “10 under 40” honoree.
A book signing will follow his presentation.
