Rods and Rides for Riley May 17

A motorcycle and car show, Rods and Rides for Riley, will be held at Line Creek Baptist Church, 1488 Bob Smith Rd., Sharpsburg, May 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The show welcomes bikes, trucks, rat rods, race cars, muscle cars and antique cars.

Riley Speed was diagnosed with Metastic Ewings Sarcoma in September 2011, almost seven weeks after her sixth birthday. She lives in Newnan and is being treated at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston, according to family friends.

Since that time she has undergone surgeries and chemotherapy.
