Airman Echols graduates from basic training

Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Angelica K. Echols graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Echols is the daughter of Schrence Wright of Fairburn, and sister of Jonathon Williams of Newnan.

She is a 2008 graduate of Tri-Cities High School, East Point.

Airman Marcel graduates from basic training

Air Force Airman Louis A. Marcel graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Marcel is the son of Rosemarie Marcel of Sharpsburg. He is a 2008 graduate of East Coweta High School, Sharpsburg.
