Tickets still available for Taste of Home show

Newnan Utilities and The Times-Herald will again have the Taste of Home Cooking School Thursday, Nov. 5 at the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts. Culinary Specialist Michelle Roberts will present "Fall Comfort Classics."

Packed with great recipes for the fall and year round, the show promises to make for a fun and informative evening, complete with new recipes, tips and techniques. Whether you are just getting started with cooking or you are looking to refine your cooking skills and expand your recipe collection, Taste of Home Cooking School events have something for everyone.

Along with a great show, attendees will be treated to a gift bag full of free products, coupons and magazines. There will also be chances to win a variety of valuable door prizes. New this year, attendees may also sign up to receive a free one-year subscription to Taste of Home Magazine or its sister publication, Simple and Delicious.

Prior to the show, guests will be invited to visit a number of booths from local businesses, showcasing everything from area restaurants to skincare products and goods for the home.

"Newnan Utilities has been proud to bring the Taste of Home Cooking School to Newnan for over a decade," said Joni Scarbrough, Administrative Services Manager. "It has become a long-standing favorite for many experienced and newer cooks alike. We're looking forward to another informative and entertaining show this year."
